Horrific Morning Crash on Angeles Crest Highway Leaves Two People Airlifted in Monrovia

Monrovia, CA – A peaceful Saturday morning turned into a nightmare when a violent rollover crash left two people seriously injured on the scenic Angeles Crest Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the devastating accident occurred around 7 a.m. at mile marker 45.15, a stretch of road known for its sharp turns and steep drop-offs.

Reports indicate that a black Ford pickup truck suddenly veered off the roadway for reasons that remain unclear. Moments later, the vehicle lost control, rolled multiple times, and came to rest upside down on its roof, mangled and nearly unrecognizable.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and immediately called for two medical helicopters to airlift the victims to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena due to the severity of their injuries. A 20-year-old man was also transported to another local hospital in unknown condition.
